Amikaeyla and Trelawny Rose have it, and clearly have been doing this kind of music together for a long time. Their singing is the highlight of every song and fans of vocal jazz as well as adult contemporary music should pay attention. This is all the more notable considering that these are all live recordings.

The two singers weave harmonic lines carefully managing the intended tension. Cassidy's show-stopping "Wonderful World" proves the same on this, one of the finest recordings of the year.
All About Jazz, By Michael C. Bailey
The styles on this release are as diverse as Eva Cassidy's music. Sting's "Fields of Gold" has some elements of rock and country similar to Melissa Etheridge with a touch of jazz provided by Wayne Wallace melodies on the trombone. Amikaeyla and Trelawny sing beautiful harmonies over the folksy feel of "Songbird" and on the hymn like "Tall Trees".

The duo said that they do not attempt to mimic Cassidy's style in their tribute concerts to her. "The thing that Eva did," said Amikaeyla, "was to take standards and then turn them on their heads. So we do what Eva would enjoy, we think, taking her renditions and flipping them on their head."
Santa Cruz Sentinel, By Wallace Baine
The duo's enthusiasm spills over onto the new, deeply personal tribute album, "To Eva, With Love," the first of its kind, in which they cover the songs Cassidy imbued with such emotional depth.

An exceptional record. These two marvelous voices interlaced, the perfect accompaniment of the orchestra, the professional sound, make a superb success!
Serge Warin, Radio Canal Bleu, France
To Eva With Love’ is a beautifully crafted pastiche of classic pop standards (Sting, Cyndi Lauper, Paul Simon, Curtis Mayfield) that pays homage to Eva's legendary talent. Her ability at crossing genres without sacrificing musical sensibility and artistic authenticity have definitely stood the test of time and is honored beautifully through this live recording by Amikaeyla and Trelawny Rose.
